We are very excited to welcome our parents to join us in school. 

To make the event more special, our friends from the Doncaster Went Valley Lions have very kindly donated this year's Easter eggs to our pupils. We would like to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to them for their generosity and kindness.

From all of us at North Ridge, we wish you a very happy and rested Easter holidays.

'Being safe' is an important topic for our pupils and getting to meet the PCSOs was a great opportunity to find out more about safe adults in the community. Our older pupils had fun trying on the uniform, taking fingerprints and role-playing being a Police Officer, whilst our younger pupils got to have a go in the Police van.

It was lovely to see so many faces at the event. Your support helped us raise a fantastic £410.75 for Macmillan. We would just like to say a big thank you to all the families who supported us this year in making the day a great success. All the pupils showed great sportsmanship and enjoyed the different activities. We hope you enjoyed the day also.

Although our summer fayre was on a smaller scale this year, it was great to see so many of you supporting us and with your help we raised an amazing £489.63.

The food selection was greatly received and enjoyed.

We spent time throughout the day visiting different areas of school, interacting with different classes of various age groups and getting to know each other whilst completing activities such as jigsaw puzzles, building blocks and games. 

We had a brilliant day.

We had a phenomenal turn-out with 82 families joining us. Whilst school was extremely busy, it was brilliant to see you all taking part in what we believe was a great afternoon. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. We often say your support is never taken for granted and this event was testament to that. Not only did you amaze us with your attendance, your contribution to our raffle means we raised an amazing £373.65 towards our school funds. - Thank you.

The pupils have been learning how to look after Frank, they have really enjoyed taking him for walks outside and Frank has enjoyed all the attention. He has made pupils very happy by walking lovely at the side of them and allowing them to brush him. Frank has been off of his lead in the class room exploring the surroundings. 

Mole Class have shown a lot of enthusiasm and engagement when looking after Frank and really look forward to him visiting.

Everyone looked so brilliant in their jumpers, it gave the school a real sense of Christmas spirit. 

Ann, our school Catering Manager, really spoilt us this year and excelled herself with Christmas Dinner and even more so with her wonderful gingerbread people and The Grinch-inspired buns.

The course covered a variety of topics that will support them with their children.

The feedback from this course was extremely positive, so the course will be run again in the New Year.

Your contributions make such a difference, and we are truly grateful for your dedication to our school community.

These funds will go a long way in supporting the school and ensuring our pupils have access to the best possible experiences. The pupil parliament will meet soon to discuss ways to spend the money raised.

The community created by parents and carers today was a true demonstration of the school's REACH values.

Thank you again for making this event a success and bringing the festive spirit to life!

Pupils spent time in the planetarium learning about space and asked lots of brilliant questions, like' How do astronauts wash or brush their teeth in space?' 

All the upper primary classes loved the visit, and the staff were so proud of how engaged in the learning all the pupils were.
